Borrowing the Reminiscence Boxes

 

The Reminiscence Boxes are available for loan on a fortnightly basis. We charge £10 per fortnight to cover costs and this must be paid when you pick the box up.

 

Pre Booking:

* Plan your group beforehand. Aim for about 8-10 people including carers/staff. Two smaller groups can be      more effective than one large one.

 

Booking:

* Choose which box you would like.

* Phone the Museum to reserve it (01229 772555) the best time to phone is on a Tuesday.

 

Collecting:

* You must collect the box from the Museum.

* You will need to sign a loan agreement form before you take the box out.

 

Returning:

* The box must be returned on or before the specified date.

* Late returns will be charged at £10 per week.

* Please complete the evaluation form and return it with the box.

Topics are generally set between 1930 –1950 in order to have relevance to more people.

 

Millom Folk Museum Led Sessions:

* We have a trained team who can lead the Reminiscence Session for you. It costs £25 per session.

* Normally we would allow 1 hour per session although we don’t mind overrunning slightly, if people are           enjoying themselves.
